CounterPoint, the private-label apparel and lifestyle brand of Smith Entertainment Group, today unveiled its newest limited-edition collection in collaboration with Kultured Misfits, a Black-owned premium streetwear brand based in Atlanta. The full collection, titled "Take Note: A Love Letter to the Game," will go on sale exclusively at Delta Center on Feb. 28 during the Jazz game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Utah Jazz x Kultured Misfits collection is an ode to the power of basketball and the rich cultural impact it has had in Utah. Rooted in the Utah Jazz's “Mountain Basketball” brand philosophy,  the collection reflects the team's spirit and the culture it has built both on and off the hardwood. Mountain Basketball embraces the spirit of Utah by tying together a passion for basketball, a dynamic community on the rise, and the impact of Utah’s mountainous environment on daily life.

“Partnering with Kultured Misfits is about more than just fashion—it’s about real, intentional support for Black-owned businesses, especially during Black History Month,” said Calyann Barnett, creative director at CounterPoint. “True allyship isn’t performative; it’s about putting resources behind the brands that deserve visibility, and I’m proud to be part of an organization that shares that commitment. Kultured Misfits and CounterPoint both stand for individuality, creativity, and the power of self-expression—this collaboration reflects our shared belief in using fashion as a medium to uplift, inspire, and celebrate culture.”

At Kultured Misfits, the design team looked deeper at what these mantras mean beyond the game—how they represent individuality, perseverance, and the journey of carving your own path. This reflection led them to merge the Jazz's ethos with their own guiding principle: "Never Fit In." The collection is where two brands, two cultures, and two mindsets come together as one—celebrating those who embrace their uniqueness while finding unity in the game that connects us all.

"This collaboration with the Utah Jazz is a full-circle moment for me," says Lindsay Barnette of Kultured Misfits. "Basketball has always been more than a game—it's a culture, a connector, and a community built through creativity, uplifting others, and celebrating what makes people unique. That shared purpose is what connects KM to the NBA and makes this bigger than just the sport itself."

On Feb. 28, Utah Jazz players will introduce the collection by wearing select pieces, including the mesh shooting shirt and breakaway pants, during their warm-ups ahead of the game that evening.

The limited-edition collection includes:
