At the beginning of the year Kultured Misfits announced our 1st Annual "Legalize Free College" Scholarship. Our goal was to reward student(s) who are seeking higher education to make a true different in the world today. Students who aren't afraid to be themselves, defy stereotypes, make change and shake things up. The ones who call themselves Kultured Misfits.
After reviewing our submissions, the Kultured Misfits board has selected a winner.
Congratulations to DeShon Greene for being selected as the 2016 "Legalize Free College" Scholarship recipient.
As we watched her submission video, we saw her individuality, passion for making change, and willingness to learn from others. All the characteristics of a Kultured Misfits! Her personality and amazing spirit drew us in completely. We are very excited to reward her with this year's scholarship and can't wait to see what she does next to take on the world.
